She holds a L.Mt. degree for massage from Advanced Massage Therapeutics, in Louisville, KY. During her practice of massage therapy, Serene attended Southwest Acupuncture College, in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, in Chicago, Illinois – earning her L.Ac. degree, enabling her to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
“I was an athlete for over fifteen years. I began acupuncture treatments due to severe sports-related injuries. The remarkable recovery facilitated by acupuncture lead me to acupuncture school and practice. It has been deeply gratifying to see so many people benefited by acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine: with pain relief, increased mobility, stress relief, sleep, and so much more…. The effectiveness of acupuncture never ceases to amaze me.”
